Imet Cubo 300-E flat bandsaw

Automatic bandsaw with one way manual mitre 255mm capacity. Ideal for production cutting situations where large quantities of the same length are desired from the same material. (for applications where many different cut lengths from each bar are required see the NC version). Bundle Cutting Vice

The CUBO automatic band saws in the BOX version can be used with the bundle cutting device. The bundle cut can only be used for 0° cutting. Single piece capacity with mounted device: 350x160mm max, 55x10mm min. Cutting capacity for bundle is: max 300x160mm, minimum 85x10mm. The device can be disassembled using the 2 screws on the fixed vice and the 2 on the carriage vice and disconnecting the hydraulic tubes using the quick couplings systems.

Battery Laser Line

Premium quality battery powered laser line. Can be fitted to most bandsaws and some circular saws. Excellent battery life and adjustable projection line. This is a useful device when this machine is being used in semi automatic mode for general fabrication activities.

Laser Line-61

Imet factory fit wired laser line (we have a selection of alternative Addison retro-fit products as well). This is a useful device when this machine is being used in semi automatic mode for general fabrication activities.

Addimist

Pure oil micro-mist blade lubrication system recommended for cutting tubes and sectional material where flood lubricant loss through the material is a problem. This precision delivery system allows adjustment for the number of pulses per min, and the quantity of each dose. (requires compressed air supply) The standard flood system is retained for cutting solid material and the operator can simply switch between systems.

Chip Conveyor

It’s available for all the CUBO SERIES automatic bandsaw an optional motorized chip conveyor placed laterally (on the loading side) of the machine. The chip conveyor allows to optimize the machine efficiency by removing swarf while cutting.

Inverter for variable speed 18-110 m/min

If required, the electronic inverter for variable blade speed allows the operator via keyboard to adjust the machine to be able to cut a wide range of materials and different sections. The change of speed is via inverter and it does not affect the power of the engine even at low speeds.

Material detection device

Device to automatically detect the material height, this unit allows fast approach to the material before switching to the selected speed for the cutting cycle. The blade is only raised 1mm above the cut piece to reduce cycle times.

Cutting length

The machine is equipped with electronic control with manual selection of the cutting length with digital display. After setting the required length and the number of cuts, a trim cut is performed prior to the production cycle commencing.

Cutting Control

Programming of all operation by means of the keyboard: the machine display illustrates the blade life and speed, piece counter, cycle time, motor motor power absorption.

Feeder system

CUBO 300 E FLAT is equipped with a hydraulic feeder system with floating adjustment to to handle out of tolerance material; the maximum single stoke is 515 mm while the minimum is 4 mm (multiple indexing up to 29 times for longer lengths.

Blade guide system

Very important to get this right in any bandsaw, heavy steel guide arms support a precision set of pre-twist roller bearings and solid carbide blade guides to give maximum precision and performance.

Cast iron bow

The bow of is manufactured in heavy cast iron with large band wheels 320mm diameter to reduce blade material stress. The tension of the band is 1700kg / cm2 for maximum precision and performance with front adjustment and control microswitch. The blade guard is hinged to facilitate the blade replacement .
