Imet BS 300 PLUS SHI

A highly recommended machine for the demanding workshop. This rugged machine features electro-hydraulic cutting action with an auto return after cut and a material height sensor with a rapid approach function. Also included is a rotating cutting table with positive stops for common angles, hydraulic vice and much more. This machine is historically well proven for delivering the highest levels of performance and reliability.

Addimist Bandsaw

Pure oil micro-mist bandsaw blade lubrication system that is recommended for cutting tubes and sectional material where the flood lubricant loss through the material is a problem. This precise delivery system allows adjustment for the number of pulses per min, and the quantity of each dose. (requires compressed air supply) The standard flood system is retained for cutting solid material and the operator can simply switch between systems.

Cutting table

BS 300 PLUS is equipped with a wide diameter rotating cutting table. The benefit over a solid fixed table is when mitre cutting the sawblade does not cut away the table bed.

There is a system of easy stops at 0°, 45° and 60° left and 45° right with graduated scale to precisely set different angles.

Pneumatic Vice

Rapid set feature useful for time saving when switching from wide to small material. Easily position either side of the saw blade dependent on miter direction.

Cast iron bow

The bow of BS 300/60 SHI is manufactured in heavy cast iron with large band wheels 320 mm diameter to reduce blade material stress. The tension of the band is 1700 kg / cm2 for maximum precision and performance with front adjustment and control micro switch. The blade guard is hinged to facilitate the blade replacement .

Blade guide system

Very important to get this right in any bandsaw, heavy steel guide arms support a precision set of pre-twist roller bearings and solid carbide blade guides to give maximum precision and performance.

Cutting control

An amp meter is fitted to illustrate the cutting load. This can be used to determine the blade condition and machine stress. LED lights indicate the machine status.

Blade Speed Control

If required, the electronic inverter for variable blade speed allows the operator via keyboard to adjust the machine to be able to cut a wide range of materials and different sections. This system  does not affect the power of the drive motor even at low speeds.
