Imet H820 Semi-Automatic Bandsaw

Semi-automatic, hydraulically driven twin column bandsaw for straight cut production work. This saw is built specifically for cutting profiles, pipes, beams and  is highly recommended for square section and flat plate as the inclined sawblade feature offers the line of least resistance on these materials. The bandsaw delivers faster cutting times, increased blade life and scope of use for each tooth pitch, with less stress on the machine components.

Premium quality German battery powered laser line. Can be fitted to most bandsaws and some circular saws. Excellent battery life and adjustable projection line.

Minimal lubrication system for band saws - mist spray
Addimist

Addimist Pure oil micro-mist blade lubrication system recommended for cutting tubes and sectional material where flood lubricant loss through the material is a problem. This precision delivery system allows adjustment for the number of pulses per min, and the quantity of each dose. (requires compressed air supply) The standard flood system is retained for cutting solid material and the operator can simply switch between systems.

Laser detecting system

H 820 uses a laser detecting system to detect the material before cutting and to relieve the first and end cut point during the saw frame descending and ascending.

Saw Frame

H 820 has a heavy rigid steel saw frame for maximum stability and vibration absorbtion. Mounted on a large steel column with precision linear guides. To increase the cutting performance, the bandsaw has a very high blade tension (2000kg/cm2).

Blade Inclination

The 5° blade inclination has considerable benefits when cutting square and flat material. With sectional material the line of least resistance is followed through the entire cut. With solid the initial contact is not across the entire width. All of these benefits add up to extended blade life faster cutting times and less stress on the machine components.

The machine mounts a motorized cleaning brush with nylon teeth to extend blade life and improve the cut finish.

Blade guides

Large roller bearing take the strain of twisting the sawblade which then passes through solid carbide blade guides for maximum precision and consistency. The moving guide is automatically synchronised with the vice opening to guarantee it is always in the optimum position.

Hydraulic full stroke vice clamping both sides of the sawblade to eliminate any break away nib.

Cutting Control

The mobile panel control gives the operator full control on the entire working process and it allows to set and modify all the main operative settings like blade speed and saw frame feeding speed, material penetration. The panel is also equipped with LCD control light.

Motorized length stop with CNC (Optional)
