Cast iron bow

The bow of BS 300/60 GH is manufactured in heavy cast iron with large band wheels 320mm diameter to reduce blade material stress. The tension of the band is 1700kg / cm2 for maximum precision and performance with front adjustment and control microswitch. The blade guard is hinged to facilitate the blade replacement .

Cutting table

BS 300 PLUS is equipped with a wide diameter rotating cutting table. The benefit over a solid fixed table is when mitre cutting the sawblade does not cut away the table bed.

There is a system of easy stops at 0°, 45° and 60° left and 45° right with graduated scale to precisely set different angles.

Vice adjustment

The vice can be easily positioned either side of the sawblade depending on the direction of cutting angle. There is also q handy quick release mechanism for rapid setting between small and large width material.

Blade guide system

Very important to get this right in any bandsaw, heavy steel guide arms support a precision set of pre-twist roller bearings and solid carbide blade guides to give maximum precision and performance.

Cutting control

3 mode selection – Manual movement with blade function disabled for fast approach to material, ideal when cutting to marked material line  – Operator setting of the start position with auto-cut function and blade stop at end of cut for unattended cutting. And pure manual cutting mode.  An amp meter is fitted to illustrate the cutting load. This can be used to determine the blade condition and machine stress.
