Field Service Engineer
Due to increased demand, Addison Saws Ltd are looking to add another full-time field service engineer to their ever-growing service team.
The Job:
- On-site breakdown repair to our extensive range of Band saws, Circular Saws, CNC machining centres, and tube benders
- Installation & commissioning of newly purchased machines.
- Preventative Maintenance visits
- Fault finding and general guidance
The Person:
- Broad engineering knowledge consistent with the need to diagnose faults, repair and maintain industrial machinery. Previous experience with cutting machinery preferred but any relevant experience in similar fields will be considered.
- Sound knowledge of Mechanics, Electrics including PLC, pneumatics & hydraulics
- Technical qualification in electronic or electrical engineering.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide is essential, as well as visiting Addison HQ in Stourbridge when required.

In-House Workshop Engineer
We are now recruiting for a full-time workshop engineer role to be based at Addison’s Stourbridge HQ.
The Job:
This is a varied role with plenty of hands-on technical work. General workshop duties including but not limited to:
- The cleaning, repair and refurbishment of incoming second-hand machinery to include mechanical and electrical works
- Preparation of machines sold and due to be shipped
- Completion of warranty work where this can be done in-house
- Assembly, movement and care of stock machines
The person:
- Previous experience of working a workshop environment in a similar industry would be ideal
- Relevant mechanical and electrical qualifications required
- Good communicator and team player
- Commutable to Lye in Stourbridge
