Imet unveil their newest metal cutting band saw, the XSMART4 at Emo 2021
Emo, the world’s leading metal working exhibition, held annually in Milan, is often the stage for big news and industry leading technology unveilings. This year was no different, with Imet introducing their newest automatic band saw, the XSMART4.
About the XSMART4
The new XSMART4 is an automatic straight-cut bandsaw, designed for cutting metals up to 360mm diameter. This machine has been built for professionals and their workshops, meaning it’s suited to most production plants where accuracy, precision and efficiency are vital.
Equipped with an integrated feeder, 7″ touch screen display, 4 KW motor and 41mm blade. The XSMART4 band saw is the latest product of Imet’s expert development team. Unlike many traditional band saws, operator safety has been put at the forefront of design by enclosing the entire saw, which also protects all moving parts. Furthermore, the machine must be in standby mode for operators to be able to access the internal components, ensuring even more protection for both user and machine.
