For Addison Saws, the FIT show was a resounding success. Not only in terms of a busy few days showcasing their exceptional range of aluminium cutting machinery by manufacturers such as Mecal, Pressta Eissele, PBT and Tronzadoras but also in terms of making contact with potential future customers.

“This was the right time for us to attend the Fit Show,  we have been steadily building up a solid picture of what the fenestration market wants and needs from the machinery it relies upon so heavily, and now we believe we’re at the stage where we can say our products confidently compete with the main brands, and in most cases offer more value. Now is the time to show the industry they have more choice than ever before.” comments Josie Haddy, Marketing Manager.

Newcomers to the stage

The Fit show was Addison Saws re-entry to exhibitions within the Window and Door industry following Glassex closing its doors for good. FIT gave Addison an opportunity to present how their 60 years of knowledge together with an extensive product range can be implemented to provide efficient solutions. Addison also has 10 years of experience providing a variety of machinery into various aluminium markets, so it was no surprise that the machines that they brought along stimulated a lot of interest, particularly with the finance options offered.

The show provided a stage for introducing two new machines to the range – the Mecal Dynacut Double Mitre Saw and the PBT25 aluminium profile bending machine from Swiss manufacturers Profilbiegetechnik, or PBT. As a result of the response received, Addison has taken further action and now has a dedicated spot in their showroom for the PBT25 to offer working demonstrations.

Chris Wilson, UK Sales Director for Addison Saws manned the stand for the 3 days “It was a very successful show all round, I believe we were able to give people a better idea of what Addison stands for and the quality of the machinery we have to offer the window and door market. It was great to catch up with current customers and meet many more interested in the functionality and efficiency that our machines can provide”.

Addison has high hopes for future, within the aluminium market in general. The product range offering ease of use, innovation and all backed by their service department which receives sustained praise in their quick and efficient service to customers all over the UK

It doesn’t stop here either for Addisons, “The next 12 months will see us investing heavily in this sector, supporting our customers by sourcing products to match their needs in this evolving market.  We are very excited about what we can achieve here considering how popular the Aluminium machinery range has become in the last 5 years and remain committed to offering the latest innovative products that is backed by outstanding customer service” Gary Knight, Addison Managing Director.
